The Takeover target Room Is named after one of the best horses bred on the farm.
Takeover Target was a champion racehorse who rose from humble beginnings to become a global sensation. He was bred and raised at Meringo Stud in New South Wales, Australia,
He was bought by Joe Janiak, a former taxi driver who trained him himself and turned him into a superstar. He won nine Group 1 races in four countries, including the prestigious King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Sprinters Stakes in Japan. He set track records, won millions in prize money, and captured the hearts of fans around the world. He was a true rags to riches story that inspired millions.
